Description:
Food Plant Pest Management is a specialized, in-depth training program for individuals responsible for managing pests in food processing and pharmaceutical plants and facilities. In addition to learning the principles of pest management in food processing plants, you will study timely information on sanitation, food laws and regulations, pesticides and their application in food plants, pest-proofing for food plants, fumigation practices for food plant operations, and warehouse pest management.
While the course includes extensive supplementary materials, the Truman Scientific Guide to Pest Management Operations 7th Edition is required for this course.

Students who wish to return a course after all materials are received back at Purdue in new condition will receive a pro-rated fee refund according to the following schedule. Shipping fees will not be refunded.
- For online courses, once you start the program there is no refund.
- Within 15 days from the date of enrollment: 100%
- 15 – 30 days after the date of enrollment: 50%
- 30 days after the date of enrollment: No refund.
